Not another fantasy site :)October 2, 2012
- Like everybody else I enjoy occasional match predictions and the usual "told you so" bragging rights.
With the NBA season just around the corner I googled for "NBA fantasy leagues" but the results didn't really satisfy my needs... Most of the sites appeared to have the common theme of drafting players, rotating 'em and hoping they'd fill-in the stat sheet night-in and night-out. But I was looking for something else; something classic; something similar to betfair where you can
predictbet on the game itself but without the money part : )
Not being able to find what I was looking for I thought why don't I just build my own fantasy site where you can predict ball winners and have your stats tracked in various ways. That idea span in my head for a day or two and as I was finalizing connecting the dots I decided.. YEP I'll do it!

How the project came to life..?November 3, 2012
- It's been exactly a month since the brainstorming & drawing-board phase. 3 weeks since a flurry of HTML/CSS and bits of jQuery coding. 2 weeks since the front-end & back-end tandem of functionality implementation. 3 days since wrapping up the loose ends and solidifying the project. Thus as the result of a successful incremental development execution, the project is now ready for the alpha testing phase.
BallWinners.com is now officially open to the public!November 16, 2012
